Have you heard about it? Covid-19? A safe assumption is that you have. I feel you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that hasn't heard about it.
People feel differently about it, we don't need to get into it, one thing I think we can all agree on is that we were not planning for, or prepared for, Covid-19.
Want to know what I was planning for? Baseball.
Lots and lots of baseball.
Thankfully, as I write this I have a Red Sox game on in the background. I didn't allow myself to believe a baseball season was actually going to happen until the games started. I still don't believe we'll make it through the entire 60-game season.
I'm working on visiting all 30 baseball seasons, the goal is to do it before I turn 30 (#30by30) and this season is definitely making that difficult! I'm at 18 so far, was planning on hitting six more this season. I didn't think I was going to make it through the weekend in which I was supposed to be visiting Wrigley Field while the Red Sox played the Cubs, talk about a dream come true.
I'll take what I can get for now though. Baseball is back even if it's back without fans.
We celebrated opening day with a Red Sox win and a family photo.
